self portrait vs selfie

a selfie is a photo taken usually on a cell phone or webcam that is done spontaneously to most likely be posted on social media appearing candid. a self-portrait is more formal, has a meaning behind it and had much thought put to use to set it up and can be a picture or a painting. the main differences are that a self-portrait takes much more time to do than a selfie because a selfie has little planning and thinking behind it is more to capture the moment than to have a meaning or purpose also a selfie can only be done in photo form while a self-portrait can be a painting or a photo. i prefer self portrait because i wouldn't really call selfies a photo style they are just a thing that people do to take a quick photo of themselves while self portraits are made to show a purpose and have meaning. yes self portraits are more important because of the time that goes in to make it. i went to petapixel its articles were mostly about photography but not all of them were. out of the o

phobia

1. a phobia is a irrational fear 2.  Quadraphobia- fear of the number four.  Ankylophobia- Fear of immobility of a joint. Arsonphobia- Fear of fire. Pyrophobia- Fear of fire.  Pupaphobia - Fear of puppets. 3. for Aichmophobia fear of needles i could have a hand with a bunch of needles in it and fake blood pooling in the hand. my sister has a fake model body in her room so i could do it on that. i could get it at an angle so the finger tips are facing the camera almost touching it so it is up really close. Automysophobia i would have two hands covered in dirt facing the screen to make it seem like it is in first person and it would be in a dark area with the only light on the hands. i could just use my hands as the model. i could use rule of thirds very well as well as simplicity on this one. for Iophobia fear of poison i would have a drink of a food with something like food coloring falling on to it. i could get it from a side view while it is falling into it

i like how it looks like a actual ad and the image is very clear and neat. i also like the angle that it was taken at. i chose this photo because of how it was shot on film as well as how it is this old desk in the middle of nowhere out in the desert

2017

i chose this photo because of how the timing was perfect and shows the dangers of fighting for a cause. i chose this photo because of how not only was the volcano captured at the right time the lightning strike was also in the photo making it a very rare thing to see. i chose this photo because of the recent problems that have been going on with north korea and this photo captures the gloom and poverty of that country 1. im just going to skip the music one since i dont really listen to any music 2. i would have to say the best movie of the year was baby driver. the director Edgar Wright made a near perfect film with so many visual secrets inside of it you could watch it over and over and still find something new that was hidden in the background. everything that happened in the movie was usually to the beat of a song and had some great car chase scenes that were some of the best that i have seen. the only real complaint i have with the movie is that some of the story and
