africa photos

1.the photos were most impressive because of the angles he was able to get them at. I was surprised by the fact that he took multiple days just to get a single photo. It seems like he cares a lot about the well being of the animals in east Africa.
2.
3. it is a picture of a gorilla that is perfectly in the center and you can make out every little detail on it, it is surrounded by plants to the left and nothing to the right.
4. simplicity because it clearly stands out in the picture, framing because of how it is darker than the rest and is framed around the light area, and avoiding merging because of the fact that it does not blend in to the areas around it.
5.he uses two fixed lenses so he cant zoom because with the fixed he gets more of the background
6.he takes these photos because he cares about the animals that live there
7. he takes these photos to help raise awareness about the help these animals need
8."In 1995 I first drove the main road from Nairobi down through southern Kenya to Arusha in northern Tanzania. Along the way, in completely unprotected areas, I saw giraffes, zebras, gazelles, impalas, wildebeest. A few months ago, just 13 years later, I made the same drive."-Nick Brandt
